Flak Armor is one of the armor sets. It is unlocked at Level 56, costing 20 Engram Points for the helmet, 18 Engram Points for the chestpiece, 16 Engram Points for the gauntlets and boots and 15 Engram Points for the leggings for a total of 85 Engram Points for the full set.
Flak Armor provides high physical protection and decent cold protection, though it does make the user more susceptible to heat. It is a great mid-lategame armor set for combat, allowing the user to shrug off most attacks with ease (provided they have enough Health to withstand a concentrated assault). However, Flak Armor generally isn’t the best armor for exploration due to its low temperature resistances.
Provides heavy physical protection, but makes the elements harder to endure.
